ELISE ZISSMAN
Design to me is something that is invisible; something that cannot be described. Although design literally produces a finished aesthetic or product or pattern, design is all about the task and the creative ideas it takes to produce a finished project. Design to me is all about the creativity with no boundaries and the feeling of self accomplishment and gratification at the finished piece. Good Design is invisible because it fits, it works, and it flows.
Elise graduated from the University of Missouri in May 2020 earning a Bachelor's Degree in Textile and Apparel Management on the Apparel Merchandising and Marketing Track as well as Minors in Business and Entrepreneurship. Elise also received Summa Cum Laude honors excelling in her education. In the Summer of 2019, Elise furthered her educational experience as a Visual Merchandising Intern at Paper Source in Chicago, Illinois. The internship offered a multitude of exposure in Visual Merchandising, Buying, Design, Store Operations, and working cross functionally with all departments. After graduation in May of 2020, Elise plans to start her career in a Buying, Planning, or Merchandising role.
