VIRTUAL FASHION EXHIBITION
The Virtual Fashion Exhibition was a freely creative assignment to connect fashion to a specific historic era of time. As history exhibits and museums are a tool to display material culture, visual materials, and didactic material, it was an imperative theme of the project to tell a story. My Virtual Fashion Exhibition that I constructed told the story of Emilio Pucci's influence during the psychedelic 1960s. Emilio Pucci was an Italian designer who liberated construction of garments to create independent and free-moving silhouettes for women all while capturing the distinct spirit of the decade in his colors and prints.
