PELOTON PROMISE SUBSCRIPTION BOX
"expanding the Peloton Community to all"
In the final year at the University of Missouri, as a final Capstone project for Textile and Apparel Management Students, groups are challenged to propose a new product line or idea as an extension of a current company or as the basis for a new company. We opted to propose a Subscription Box service within the brand of Peloton as an extension by the name of Peloton Promise. After analyzing the consumer field, the group found that subscription boxes are widely utilized, but are not specified to specific subsets of consumers. Thus, Peloton Promise was formed to offer an array of health and wellness products specifically to urban, active individuals. This new product extension will build on Peloton's avid fan base and technological advancements, utilize brand partnerships for diverse assortments, and offer an opportunity for all, including current Peloton users, to be a part of the Peloton community.
The group worked through many stages covering all aspects of their business including Market and Gap Analysis, Product Launch and Branding Strategies, Value Chain Steps and Strategy, Budget and Merchandise Assortment Planning and Allocation, Human Resources, and Promotion.
