Mood Board Inspiration
Focus on Closed Loop Fashion, Design, and Technology Driven Clothing in the Millennial Generation.
After researching clothing waste in the Millennial Generation due to Fast Fashion, I was tasked with creating a mood board to visually represent the direction the industry will go in to cater to this issue and consumer base.
My representation details closed loop, recyclable materials, packaging, and products. As well as an emphasis in mobile, technology, and design inspired by mechanical technical lines. Lastly, the forecast of Millennials overlapping their urban, mobile mindset with the demand to be more green and sustainable will lead to a mixture of green and black color schemes and more sustainable, efficient fibers.

After researching clothing waste in the Millennial Generation due to Fast Fashion, I was tasked with creating a mood board to visually represent the issue at hand.
I forecasted that Millennials and will start to savor their clothing and extend its usable life through using the items they have, shopping with a more sustainable, green mindset, and start to follow Clothing Care Guides to Handle their Clothing with Care to increase its longevity. Furthermore, the industry will look into "buy Nothing Day" to encourage consumers to value the products they own, knowing not everything has to be instantly replaced.
