The Commercial Design Project is made up of teams creating a commerical design concept from a foreign country including elements inspired by the country, logo, original floor plan design, a wearable garment, and marketing tools. My team, including myself, Hannah Eckenroth, and Dash Schneeberg created and co-owned the high-fashion, Parisian boutique, élan. élan included many unique business traits including a Styling Service for all customers, a Parlour Lounge looking over the Parisian streets, and sweets and drinks from our Parisian partners. Our main focus as a business was delivering the best to our customers, so to do that, we were a Green Business who only produced clothing in Paris with Parisian supplies; we offered local food and drinks to guests from four local Parisian cafes and restaurants; and we chose not to have an online presence or utilize social media to emphasize the local and personal experience for each customer.
